#LoveForBeirut Tote Bag
[Please Note: These are on Pre-order and will be shipped on Friday 21st August]
Following the extremely saddening news of huge devastation in the Lebanon capital, Nathan Singh & Amy Brown, a London based Designer & illustrator duo wanted to make a change.
At least 100 people have been killed and 4,000 more injured in a huge explosion in Beirut, Lebanon according to latest reports. Footage shared on social media showed the moment a building several storeys high exploded, sending an enormous shockwave across the city that shattered windows, shook buildings and destroyed homes. An estimated 200,000 people have been left homeless.
We wanted to help; In response, we have created a set of one-off black tote bags with 100% off the profits going directly to https://www.islamic-relief.org.
Islamic Relief’s initial response will focus on distributing food, essential hygiene kits and health assistance to those currently sheltering in communal buildings such as schools, mosques and churches, who are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
They are also planning to work closely with other humanitarian actors in the region to maximise the effectiveness of our response.
Thank you and together, we can support Beirut.
